Yes, the Prevail Elite Motor Vehicle Insurance cover and Prevail Elite Motorcycle Insurance cover is the same as the cover your clients received through Dawes Motor Insurance (‘Dawes’).

Policies that were issued and incepted prior to Monday, 13 October 2025 are covered under the relevant Dawes PDS.

All new business and renewals issued with an inception date of Monday, 13 October 2025 or later are covered under the Prevail Elite Motor Vehicle Insurance PDS (ALLPREV MV 1025) or Prevail Elite Motorcycle Insurance PDS (ALLPREV MC 1025). This includes policies that were issued prior to Monday, 13 October 2025 but that have an inception date of Monday, 13 October or later.

For legal and administrative purposes, all correspondence, including alterations to policies incepted prior to Monday, 13 October 2025, for policies issued under the Dawes name are now branded Prevail. All correspondence you receive branded as Prevail are the same documents you received from Dawes.

All policy documents, including policy schedules and Certificates of Currency will be updated to Prevail at the next transaction.

There are some changes to the Prevail Elite Home Insurance PDS.

We have made an upgrade to the cyber protection benefit available with the Prevail Elite Home Insurance policies.

The previous cloud backup service has been upgraded to Intelligent Identity Security (IIS) – a cutting-edge platform provided by our trusted cyber incident resolution partner, Cyberscout. You can find more information about IIS in our Family Cybersecure Overview and Family Cybersecure FAQs.

This new Prevail Elite Home Insurance PDS applies to policies with an inception date on, or after, Monday, 13 October.

In addition, there has been a change to the minimum policy excess. Effective from Monday, 13 October 2025, the minimum excess applicable to Section 2: Cover for your Home and Contents will change as follows:

• For properties that include cover for home and contents the minimum excess will increase from $1,000 to $2,500.

• For properties with cover for contents only (such as owner-occupied units or properties occupied by tenants) the minimum excess will remain at $1,000.

 

These changes are outlined in this Summary of Changes document. You will need to include the Prevail Elite Home Summary of Changes document with all renewal documentation with your clients’ policies renewing on or after Monday, 13 October 2025. You don’t need to include this document with New Business policies incepting on or after Monday, 13 October 2025.

Policies that were issued and incepted prior to Monday, 13 October 2025 are covered under the Mansions Executive Insurance PDS (QM9214-0324).

All new business and renewals issued with an inception date of Monday, 13 October 2025 or later are covered under the Prevail Elite Home Insurance PDS (QM9214-1025). This includes policies that were issued prior to Monday, 13 October 2025 but have an inception date of Monday, 13 October or later.

Renewal policies issued prior to Monday, 13 October that:

• Have an inception date of Monday 13 October or later; and
• Have been provided with the Mansions Executive Insurance PDS (QM9214-0324),

 

Will shortly be provided with the Prevail Elite Home Insurance PDS (QM9214-1025) and a summary of the changes between the two PDSs. If within 1 month of receiving the new PDS your client does not wish to renew their policy on those terms, please contact us for refund options.

Yes, the Prevail Extra Farm Insurance cover is the same as the cover your clients have received through ARGIS Insurance (‘ARGIS’).

ARGIS policies that were invited to renew prior to Monday, 13 October will remain on the ARGIS PDS. All policy documents, including policy schedules and Certificates of Currency will be updated to Prevail at the next transaction.

New policies and policies invited to renew on or after Monday, 13 October 2025 will be covered under the Prevail Extra Farm Insurance PDS PAC PREV EX FARM 1025.

All correspondence you receive branded as Prevail are the same documents you received from ARGIS.
